You people rule (and Zyzzyva 2.0.1)
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated to Zyzzyva, either recently or in the past. I really, really appreciate your kindness and generosity. Thanks to [info]crosstables for the publicity, too. It makes me feel great to know that people are happy enough with my work that they'll give their hard-earned cash as a token of appreciation. At the right is a picture of my inbox right now. You people have made my day.

Just FYI, I've also released a new version of Zyzzyva (yes, another one), 2.0.1. You can get it from the usual place. I hope this fixes the problems people were seeing with lexicon preferences and lexicon databases. I was never able to reproduce the hanging problem when creating a lexicon database, so I'm not positive it's fixed, but I do believe it should be. Please let me know if you experience any problems with this version.

Hey Mike. Kudos to you for all the hard work *you* do. You deserve every donation you get, and then some. As far as the hanging problem goes, I'm fairly certain it's because of the bit about losing the setting for which lexicons you want to use. It's trying to build a lexicon for the null lexicon, which just causes it to sit there doing nothing for some reason. That is my best guess, at least.

Database build still hangs

Great stuff for the short time I saw it. My experience: I installed successfully. Got into my cardbox and fooled around a little bit. Then Eureka! You added my suggestion of making the cardbox intervals user defined...I moved some boxes around. I exited. Then, when I went back in, the database hanging started to happen. Windows user. Tried 2.02.

Think I found a possible issue

In preferences | General | Load lexicons Edit, the checkbox for loading seems to get unselected. If I hit load OWL2+LWL and OK then OK, it askes to create the database. Seems to start hanging again, but after the first cancel creates a CSW database (though I don't want it). Now I've opened and closed a few times. Changed some settings. Seems to work great now. My default is OSPD2+LWL and I don't even see CSW. But maybe the program just needs a second db for it to work.

Thanks for reporting this... I think (I hope) that maybe Zyzzyva 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 screwed up the lexicon settings, and editing them via the Preferences dialog in Zyzzyva 2.0.2 has fixed them. To be sure everything is okay, I would recommend selecting Tools->Rebuild Databases from the Zyzzyva main menu, and tell it to rebuild all databases. Thank you for reporting this, and please let me know if you encounter any more problems!
