A clean inbox
"No new mail! There's always Google News if you're looking for something to read."

Woo hoo! I haven't had an empty inbox for months, maybe more than a year. Over the past few days, I've sifted through about 1000 unread messages, and responded to almost 100 emails ranging in age from 4 hours to 4 months. I hate getting that behind on email. Sadly, I'm sure it will happen again because for reasons I don't really understand, I go through spurts where I'd rather not respond to anything. Maybe it's laziness, maybe it's just being antisocial, I'm not sure. For now though... clean inbox! Woo hoo!

Well *I* didn't get any response. I guess that either means that you deleted mine out of hand or just didn't think it worthy of a response. Either way, I think I should feel justifiably slighted. :-P

Oh yeah, your email is starred and archived so I'll look at it and take action later (where "take action" means more than just respond).

I swear to dog, I was just going to post a message that said, "there are 106 messages in my #&*&@$ inbox, and I just can't seem to catch up!"

I need to star/categorize more of them and get them out of my "needs immediate action" inbox...
